What Your Baby is Doing This Week

2 trimesters down and only one to go. By this week, the start of your third and final trimester, your baby looks similar to how she will look at birth, only thinner and smaller. If she were born today, your baby would have a very good chance of surviving however her lungs, liver, and immune system still need time to fully mature. Your baby's hearing continues to develop and she can hear and recognize your voice as well as your partner's.

What Your Body is Doing This Week

Worried about delivery or caring for your newborn? Babies don't come with instructions and now is a good time to sign up for childbirth and child care classes where you can connect with other pregnant women, learn about delivery and pain management options, breast feeding and common newborn problems. Having the knowledge to handle the coming months will help you feel a lot more confident.
